Welcome to a new school year!

The Health Sciences Library is happy to welcome new and returning faculty, staff and students to UNC-CH! A few things have changed that we wanted you to be aware of:

• New to HSL? Check out our Quick Tip guide (including new HSL Orientation Videos) to help you get to know the HSL.
• Need to charge your device? The User Services Desk has charging cables for many name brand devices available for checkout!
• More study space has opened in the basement! Come check out this quiet area.
• More standing desks have been added to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the library.
• Books are no longer stamped with due dates. Use the My Library Account link on the homepage to see when your books are to be returned or to renew them.
• The Carolina Health Informatics Program (CHIP) has moved to new offices on the 3rd floor of the library.

The staff of the HSL are always available to help you with your information needs. Get to know the liaison librarian for your school or program. You can always reach the HSL by using our Ask a Librarian service.
