NEW NIH Public Access Policy Compliance Help

By Barrie Hayes September 14, 2016

Reaching compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy before July 1, 2013 involves current and retrospective publications. To help you comply, the Health Sciences Library provides the following NEW guide to walk you through the steps:

The NIH Public Access Policy and You

Separate sections for:

  • Retroactive submission of grant funded publications
  • Submitting when going through the publication process
  • Tracking compliance using MyNCBI
  • Frequently asked questions about the policy
  • Troubleshooting when things don’t work

There is also a new 7.5 minute video that provides an overview to the policy and submission methods for those new to this (thanks to our colleagues at NYU).

If you have questions about the NIH Public Access Policy or encounter problems, please contact Ask a Librarian.  Librarians will get back to you as soon as possible, even when the HSL is closed.
