October is Health Literacy Month. Stop by the Health Sciences Library (HSL) to view this interactive health literacy exhibit, on loan from the Myra Mahon Patient Resource Center at Weill Cornell Medicine until October 18th.

The four-banner exhibit aims to raise awareness of the importance of improving the nation’s health literacy. Health literacy is an individual’s ability to manage their heath and navigate the healthcare system. Learn about free consumer health resources available from the National Library of Medicine and try your hand at communicating health information in plain language.

The exhibit is located on the first floor of HSL. It is free and open to the public.
