Please Consider Supporting the HSL

A message to the faculty and staff in health affairs at Carolina

Recent US News & World Report rankings confirm what we already knew: Carolina’s five health affairs schools are leaders in teaching, research and health care. That success is driven by the incredible talents of faculty and staff. In addition to giving generously of their time and talents, many faculty and staff also give back to Carolina financially. The 2011 Faculty-Staff Campaign has officially kicked off and we hope to build on the success of last year’s campaign, which saw 1,661 employees donate almost $1.3 million (a remarkable show of generosity considering the challenging economic environment).

Please consider supporting the Health Sciences Library (HSL) during this year’s campaign. Your gift will help preserve and grow the HSL resources and services that enhance your learning, research and teaching. Private gifts are more important than ever as we face further budget cuts. Please help us continue to be the very best library that Carolina deserves and needs to keep our schools high in the rankings.

To give online quickly and securely. You can visit https://campaign.unc.edu/unit/university-libraries// to learn more about the campaign and to see an honor roll of last year’s campaign donors.

Thank you for your consideration, as well as for all you do to advance health affairs at Carolina.
