NEW RESOURCE : Access Case Files Collection

DESCRIPTION – The Health Sciences Library is very pleased to announce that we now have complete access to the Access Case Files Collection from McGraw-Hill. Each of the 23 titles from the Access Case Files Collection is interactive, including a description of the case with opportunity to record impressions and ideas, relevant diagnostic pearls, and a summary of treatment. Each case provides a self-review quiz. Users can create a free personal account to save individual progress through cases and quiz results.

Cases range from those suitable for first year medical and health science students studying the basic sciences through to clinical sciences of interest to residents. Broad topics include : Anatomy, Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Cardiology, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Gynecologic Surgery, High-Risk Obstetrics, Internal Medicine, Medical Ethics & Professionalism,, Microbiology, Neurology, Neurosciences, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychiatry, and Surgery.
